Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Smriti Sthal

Odyssey was awarded the Design & Build project for Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Smriti Sthal at Varanasi through a design competition, wherein many companies submitted their design proposals. The project was inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendera Modi on February 16, 2020. In a time-bound contract of 70 days, Odyssey procured the raw material of, carved and installed 350 tonnes of stones which included: 6000 Square Feet of 100mm thick elaborately carved sandstone. 900 Square Feet of 50mm thick double sided lattice. 14 pillars cladded with 30mm thick carved sandstone.

Garden of Spiritual Wisdom

The Garden of Spiritual Wisdom commissioned Odyssey to create mini monuments which would be free standing and stand the test of time. These individual pieces were carved in Jurassic Gold Limestone boulders which were flattened from the front for engravings and illustrations.

National Police Memorial

An abstract sculpture made of red sandstone has been installed at the centre of the memorial. It is surrounded by concentric walls called the "Walls of Valour" with more than 200 plaques engraved with the names of martyrs from each state since 1959.

The names of 36,050 policemen who died on duty have been etched on black granite plaques at the memorial.

Dr. Ambedkar International Centre

The project awarded by NBCC, comprised the design development, manufacturing and installation of two tornana gates, chaitya arches and architectural louvers spread across the entire facade of the DAIC building. The original Tornana Gate, at Sanchi Stupa was 3D scanned by the Odyssey team and the entire monument replicated using CNC milling and finished with hand carving to give it an authentic look. All the material was sourced from a single pit of the quarry and used for the project.

Torana Gate

The Torana gateway, which is a gift from India to mark the launch of Kuala Lumpur's Litte India project. The intricately carved Torana Gate, inspired by the Toranas of the great Buddhist sculpture of Sanchi, has carvings and relief work representing ancient Indian art as well as the Islamic art form. There is the Bodhi Tree, the lotus flowers, the jatakas tales and many other such illustrations. Such detailing on an art form of this scale, involving the two disparate cultures, has not been done before.

Bio Diversity Park

The majestic monument for the Bio-diversity Park, built on the Gachibowli-Mehdipatnam Road, has become a landmark in Hyderabad as an artistic expression of the great mystery of life on earth and its creation.
