Selfie Point, Ram Ki Paidi

Odyssey - Abstractions in Stone was commissioned to capture the character traits of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Lord Laxman on portals between the Saryu river and Ram ki Paidi as a part of Development of a Selfie Point in Ayodhya. The Selfie Point at Ram ki Paidi becomes the tourist destination's epicenter and a magnificent meeting place with art walls 4.5m high and 4 to 7m wide, located in the heart of Ayodhya. The CNC carved 3D art murals on both sides of the walls transform it into a picturesque destination, providing visitors with the ideal location to capture memories against the city's tranquil and spiritual backdrop. The first gateway highlights the qualities of Lord Ramas, portraying him as the "King of Kings" and a role model for leaders. He governs in accordance with the dharma (righteousness) ideals. He is a celestial figure who, in the Ramayana, exemplifies the ideal of marital devotion as a devoted spouse. The Second portal Portrays Lord Laxman being the Princely guardian of Ayodhya, also a warrior g against Meghnath an obedient son and as protector of Mother Sita. The Third portal Explores the Beauty of Princess of Mithila , mother Sita as a loving daughter in law to Mother Anusuya. It also shows Sita as a divine entity being born of Goddess Earth, and entering into the Abyss with her mother in her last moments.
